Karaoke schedule is updated. Sundays at Upper Deck, Mondays at Big Gun, Wednesdays at Jimbo’s, Fridays at Back 9.
New songlist should be up by this weekend. I’ve been having computer troubles and switching back and forth between laptops has made keeping a single folder of new songs kinda difficult. I hope to get the new songs typed, and hopefully in a week or so re-print the whole book without 2 years of additions in the front.
Most important update is Star Wars Day, May the 4th Be With You. It’s booked at Jimbo’s Rock Lounge! I know the Avengers movie comes out that day, but seriously, you can wait to see that on Saturday. Star Wars is more important. We’re gonna do some kind of prize for best costumes, and a few members of the 501st Legion have promised to show up. If you don’t have a costume yet, you can pick up a flyer at one of my karaoke shows and bring that to Hokus Pokus in West Ashley to get 15% off one of their costumes. This year, there’s not gonna be karaoke because I want to get drunk in a Boba Fett costume. We’ll have a set from my band AS-IF and a set from our friends Cosmic Ash, followed by dance music from DJ JeffET.
